Give to the American Sign Language Program

The American Sign Language Program (ASL) was recently honored with two generous gifts that created the first funds to support our unique program.  The first established an endowment fund to provide sustainability and ongoing program support.  The second created a current use fund that is currently tied to an exciting donor challenge. Please consider a philanthropic gift to the ASL Program at OSU so that we may continue to educate and inspire our students to become active participants in the Deaf/hard-of-hearing communities and our community at large.

You can make your contribution through a secure, online connection. Make a donation online

Or you can send a check directly to Margo J. Wolanin, Director of Development for the College of Humanities at:

     1501 Neil Ave., Suite 020

     Columbus, OH 43201-2602

*NOTE* Write the fund number of your choice in the Memor section of your check.

Funds that deserve your help....

The Donna Thomas CUT Fund in American Sign Language (#312644): Provides program support.  We are excited to announce that this fund provides an opportunity to double your donation because of the donor's charitable challenge! Currently the donor is matching donations up to a total of $5,000 made to this fund.

The Lauren Sanders American Sign Language Fund (#666287):

Provides program support, student financial aid, and travel for the ASL program.

*Matching Gifts Program*

Don’t forget to check with your company to see if they have a Matching Gifts program!  Corporate matching gifts are a great way to increase the impact of your gift. By taking advantage of a company's matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution.

Read more about the founders of these ASL funds in the March 2008 Humanities Express.

Thank you for your support of the American Sign Language Program!
